Yea, odd, I made a second account on mysite and that follows and unfollows normally. So its a mystery why my first Admin account is doing it differently. Maybe one day we will figure out whats altering the behaviour

There was also someone who paid women with long feet to step on pizza, but he was very clear about it being a fetish and he wasn't weird about it.

Frankly, I don't think the privacy model of the fediverse is workable at all and it doesn't seem to be developed and maintained by people who understand or care about safety. The centralized systems are much safer for users because you only have to trust the admins of the centralized servers. Fediverse's Achilles heel is trust and all the convo and discussion about it is extremely dismissive and superficial about the realities of how the centralized systems became they way they are--much safer against stalking and mobs. Fediverse mostly gets away with this by being small and fringe. The fundamental flaw is laid bare every time a site defederates another about because of safety issues. It's a tacit concession that the federation model and implementation is not safe. If you have to defederate everyone to ensure user safety, then why bother with the fediverse in the first place? This is the core problem with the fediverse as it exists today.

Hubzilla was my first foray into fediverse. I like a lot of what it does and how it does things especially the nomadic users. Zot is also really interesting and a good contender to ap.

Thanks for commenting! I apologize for jumping to any conclusions and thank you for the clarification. No worries, I had only heard of StarLTI once before, but I hadn't looked into it too much. Initially there were a few suspicious things about the site which caused me concern. However, after finding out that Sck had undergone some sort of "rebranding" it makes a lot more sense now. We do have a rule against grey market trading, but it's more to prevent direct trades within the community and to avoid any scams that can occur because of that. I don't want to stifle discussions about grey market sites since that can definitely be an important topic, so linking to grey market sites is okay. Edit: But just don't link to them in every post.
