The core of federation isn’t just freedom of speech—it’s also freedom of association. That means you can say whatever you like, but you’re not entitled to an audience. If I don’t want to associate with you, I won’t federate with you. Federation is a right, not a privilege.
That said, this is a formal warning to remain civil. If you choose not to, a ban will follow.

So when I ask “First time seeing this?”, I’m not addressing Lemmy users specifically—it’s aimed at the Fediverse as a whole, where plenty of people still don’t realize far-right servers exist.

You can always spin up your own server and control every aspect of federation, which is what I’ve done with atomicpoet.org.

@fediversenewsHonestly, Lemmy was already pretty zionist from what I saw, the mods on the larger instances were shutting down palestine support which is why I left. Too many former reddit mods took the same positions on Lemmy.
