This is great timing I’m getting ready to abandon my Windows VM and move entirely to Linux. Will have to take a look and see if I can get SC up and running. Even running within a VM took some fiddling to pass EAC…

Edit: Yes, EAC being forced seems to be new as of a few hours ago.

I was ripping my hair out until I re-read the instructions for a third time

They do. They were talking about it in-game when I hopped on.
Hopefully this only needs to be forced during Free Flys, since there's a cost associated with getting your account banned at other times. But with how bad the cheating appeared to get recently they might just leave it on.

SC works in Linux even with EAC. The LUG script works wonders.
