i still think social media with linear timelines should have like a "incase you missed it" mixed in that is solely based on how infrequently an account posts

Bluesky has a feed called Quiet Posters which is specifically posts from accounts you follow that post infrequently. And if you have that feature where the app mixes in posts from your feeds into your Following, the experience is almost exactly like that
